Mercury is present in our air, our food supply, and in those of us who are older, in our teeth. While some dispute the effect of mercury on the immune and nervous systems, this video will clearly show the negative effects on developing cells. While this is very relevant to the developing fetus and child, it is clearly important even in adults, since we are making new neurons all the time. These neurons, based on the findings portrayed in this remarkable video, are quite vulnerable to the mercury present in our bodies. We lose neurons every year, as we age. That loss of neurons is slowed by the new neurons which develop, but in the face of mercury, these new neurons are less likely to survive. This reduces ‘brain reserve’.
